Madalynn Cole
Madalynn Cole is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Arts in Agricultural and Extension Education at New Mexico State University. Born and raised in Las Cruces, NM, she graduated from Centennial High School in 2016 and went on to earn dual bachelor’s degrees in Agricultural and Extension Education and Journalism and Mass Communication in December 2021.
Following graduation, Madalynn worked for both the USDA and the NMDA, gaining valuable experience in agricultural communication. She has been an active participant in agricultural education since high school, where she was involved in FFA. She now aspires to become a high school agriculture teacher after completing her degree in May 2026.
Currently, Madalynn serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting Dr. Kristopher Rankin. She is passionate about research, agricultural literacy, and youth education, with the goal of turning that passion into a lifelong career. Outside of her academic work, she enjoys hiking, photography, cooking, and attending live music events.
