I am Fatima Quiroz and am majoring in Wildlife Ecology and Management with a minor in Natural Resource Economics and Policy. I am a junior at New Mexico State and am actively involved in the Agricultural Economics Club where I bridge both my interest in Resource Economics and Wildlife through exposure to undergrad research. I am currently interested in researching the economic value of wildlife, specifically birds. Understanding how wildlife is valued is crucial for conservation which motivates my research focus.
