Fallon Velasquez is a master's student studying Agricultural Communications. She is from the Hondo Valley in New Mexico. She attended New Mexico State University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Agricultural and Extension Education with a minor in Animal Science in May 2024. She was active in 4-H and FFA her whole life and enjoyed showing lambs and cattle. Her thesis research is focused on water law and policies regarding acequias in the Hondo Valley. Fallon has a passion for the livestock industry and enjoys raising show cattle, as well as helping young people discover their passion for the livestock industry. Her hobbies include playing country music, silversmithing, and being on the ranch with her family.
