Natalia Molinar

Natalia Molinar is a second-year graduate student pursuing her master’s degree in Agricultural and Extension Education with a concentration in strategic communications. A native of Las Cruces, Natalia's passion for agriculture began at an early age, growing up around her family's ranch and hobby farms. Her interests grew further in high school, where she was actively involved in FFA and took film classes. During this time, she learned to merge her love for agriculture with her passion for digital media.

After graduating from Centennial High School, Natalia attended New Mexico State University (NMSU), where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Extension Education with a minor in journalism and media studies in December 2024.

Currently, Natalia works as a research assistant in the AXED department, where she supports Claire Montoya by developing communication materials, specifically videography and photography, for all New Mexico Agricultural Experiment Stations (AES).

Natalia takes great pride in the work she has produced during her time at NMSU and while working at the New Mexico Department of Agriculture (NMDA). Her faith has been a guiding force in her journey, and she is committed to following her path wherever it may lead. She aspires to apply her digital media skills in various sectors of the agricultural industry. Outside of her academic pursuits, Natalia enjoys spending time with her loved ones, a good iced latte, traveling, cooking, participating in outdoor activities, and exploring new hobbies.
